Are cockroaches taking over your home? A cockroach infestation can be enough to make you want to pack your bags and get out of there, but don’t worry!

However, we need your help in order to guarantee this treatment! It is critical that you follow the instructions below, not only for your safety but also for the treatment’s effectiveness.
Client Responsibilities PRIOR to Tech Arrival
The client must remove everything from the kitchen before our service. Below are the steps the client should take.
- Empty all the kitchen cabinets and drawers.
- Remove everything from the countertops and the pantry. This includes small appliances, décor, and food items. Our technicians will not be able to treat your property unless you do this, so if you have to, move everything to another room and cover it with a sheet just to be safe.
- Pull out the stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher away from the wall. Make sure there is enough space for the technician to get behind them.
- Clean all of the counters, cabinets, appliances, drawers, and floors. Vacuum all areas as well, especially near the baseboards. This will assist in getting any roach eggs that are lying about.
The first service includes spraying and placing baits. This treatment does have a fairly strong odor, so we ask that the client and family leave the house for a couple of hours to allow the odor to dissipate.
If the odor is still strong upon returning, we ask the client to open the windows to allow the home to air out.
You can also place fans that are pointed toward the window, which should speed up the process.
After the first service, we will return for a follow-up in approximately 2 weeks. If the clients are still having issues, everything will need to be moved again by the clients.
However, if they are not having much activity, the client will not need to remove anything. The follow-up treatment will be just a spot treatment.
Client Responsibilities After Treatment
Clean all surfaces that will come in contact with food, don’t touch the roach bait, and vacuum up any dead cockroaches you find as soon as you see them.
To prevent cockroaches from returning, don’t leave any food or drinks out overnight, which means do not go to bed with dirty dishes in the sink unless they have been cleaned off first. Seal all food in airtight containers or Ziploc bags.
You definitely want to make sure that no roaches get inside any of your food containers. That would be a nasty surprise!
